Richard Lloyd

Hannah Hardiman

Had illegitimate child while living with father on Caldwell Row in 1841. Living on Oxford Road in 1851 census. Emmigrated to Victoria Australia about 1853.

Re Hannah's Bible, which I told you I have in my possession - posted onto the face page, handwritten is "Hannah Hardiman, 1836.
This Bible is presented to Hannah Hardiman with a request that she will often read it and a hope that the example of the Holy and virtuous characters contained in this book may lead her to imitate them. Xmas 1835.

Martha Hardiman

Illegitimate child. Listed as Martha Lloyd in 1851 census.


Richard Lloyd

Prob died before 1851, was not listed with famiy on census.


Eliza Hardiman

Mother was single when she was born. Christened at St. George's.


Henry Ashmore

He is proved to be William Ashmore's son, by William Ashmore's will, proved in the Worcester Diocese Court, 29 July 1809. His father left Henry and his three other older sons one shilling each. 1841 census shows him living with 2nd wife Mary on Prospect Row, lists occupation as gardener. Census also lists birth as Worcestershire, England. Was a gardener according to his son's marriage record. Found death record for a Henry which is definitely correct one. Was living on Dudley street when died gave age as 73, there is only one Henry Ashmore on the 1841 census. Was living on Worcester Street at time of Baptism of his son Henry in 1816, which also listed his occupation as gardener. Son John was living on Worcester St. when he married Dinah Bayes.


Betsy Collins

Found marriage record for a Henry Ashmore and Betsy Collins in Chaddesley Corbett, which is the parrish where the correct Henry was born. Probably correct marriage record. Henry remarried in 1809, in Kidderminster, listed as widower.


Samuel Johnson

Bap at St. John Bedwardine (St. John Baptist). Was a laborer according to son's marraige record. He may have died before 1823, need to check the burial registers in Kidderminster.


James Ratcliff

Dinah Bayes

Living in Mount Pleasant in 1869.


James Bayes

Living on Mill Street in 1835. Was living on Cupfield (?) lane in 1841. Was living at Wood Street in 1844. Laborer. Was living on Mill street when died. Buried at St. Mary's. Probably the James Bay christened in Ribbesford in 1781, son of Mary Bay.


Elizabeth Lee

Living at Mount Pleasant when died. Church record lists age at 78 when died.


Eliza Bayes

Residence given as "foreign" at christening. No additional info given in burial record.


Elizabeth Bayes

Parrish register gives date of birth and date of christening.


Thomas Bayes

Widower in 1891 census, enumerated at 14 Dudley St.


Maria Ashmore

Living in Mount Pleasant, Kidderminster, in 1867, before marriage. Baptized at St. Mary's.
