Cost of Hike
The cost for the Havasupai hike changes each year depending on the cost of food, supplies and camping fees at the time of the hike. You can expect to pay about $200.00 per person for this five day event. The scenery is incredible, and you can't put a price on that.
Make reservations to attend this hike by mailing a non-refundable deposit in the amount of $75.00 payable to Andy Seleznov as soon as possible. This initial deposit is for one (1) horse pack. Each pack holds a maximum of forty pounds. Additional horse packs are $75.00 each. When you make your reservations, tell Andy how many horse packs you will need.
The majority of expenses are to be paid by you during the course of the hike at the time they are due. The following is a list of typical expenses.
- Horse Packs: $75 per pack. MAXIMUM 40 LBS. PER PACK
- Dinner in Prescott, AZ on way to Havasupai: $15 - $20
- Motel room in Seligman: $80 per room + tax [2 per room]
- Camping Fees: $20 entrance fee + $10 per night + tax.
- Lunch at Supai Village Restaurant: $10 - $15
- Breakfast at Supai Village Restaurant: $10 - $15
- Lunch at Lilo's Café in Seligman on the way back: $10 - $15
- Your share of Gas Expenses: $40 - $60
NOTE: These prices, except the horse pack fee, are approximations. Costs may be higher or lower than the amounts listed above, depending on circumstances at the time of the hike. The cost of food, supplies and equipment is not listed.
