Directions for Andy's Havasupai Hiking Party

From Tucson take I-10 WEST to Phoenix. From Phoenix, take I-17 NORTH to HIGHWAY 69. Proceed on HIGHWAY 69 to Prescott, AZ to meet for dinner at Gurley Street Grill: 230 W. Gurley St. in Prescott, AZ.

As you enter Prescott, HIGHWAY 69 will become E. Gurley Street. Continue on E. Gurley Street past the intersection of E. Gurley St. and N. Montezuma St. Note: East Gurley Street becomes West Gurley Street just past the intersection of N. Montezuma Street. The Gurley Street Grill is located just west of N. Montezuma Street at 230 W. Gurley St. in Prescott, AZ. After dinner, leave Prescott, AZ. Go EAST on Gurley Street back to HIGHWAY 89. Continue NORTH on HIGHWAY 89 to INTERSTATE 40.

Take I-40 WEST to the town of Seligman, close to the I-40 & ROUTE 66 junctions. Take Exit 123 off I-40 to reach the town of Seligman, AZ. The Historic Route 66 Motel is at 500 W Highway 66 in Seligman, located directly across the street from the post office.

After spending the night at the motel in Seligman, drive NORTH on ROUTE 66 to TRIBAL ROUTE 18. Watch for TRIBAL ROUTE 18 about 26 miles after Seligman. There will be a sign that says Supai. Go EAST on TRIBAL ROUTE 18 toward the Havasupai Indian Reservation. Drive on the paved road for 64 miles until you come to Hualapai Hilltop. There is a parking lot for about 200 cars.
