Western
Mexico
We spent November 19 to December 4, 2003 in West Mexico. From
November 21 to November 27 we were with Paul and Evi Opler in Mazatlan (Click Here for photos) and
the Durango Highway (Click
Here for photos), both in Sinaloa . From
Mazatlan we drove to Boca Tomatlan, Jalisco, below Mismaloya, where we
spent five days, making one stop 17km south of San Blas, Nayarit, on
the way home (Click
Here for Photos).
Many thanks to Paul Opler who ID'd most all of
the bugs we saw in the Mazatlan/Durango Highway area. Also thanks
to Richard Lindstrom, James Adams, Kim Garwood, Jim Brock, Richard
James and others who
took the time and interest to help out. But we would still like
input,
especially with the Mismaloya area butterflies.
