Here's our "HoodLifter" conversion installed on our '47 Ford 2 Dr. This is not a Hood Holder or a Hood Prop. This is a REAL Hood Lifter, like Henry would have liked his to be. And it really works for those troublesome 1939, 1940, Late 1941 & 1942 to 1948 Ford Hoods. Just raise the hood half way and it raises to full 32" on it's own.

'42 - '48 Ford "TrunkLifter"

This product will replace the stock Ford trunk lifter supports and perform like our "Hood Lifter" to raise and hold the trunk deck open. It will eliminate "Henry's" old creaky coil spring trunk support. (Presently sedans only)

The lower portion of the factory hinge, no longer serves any pupose after installing the "HoodLifter" and these finish off the hinge area and give it a neat custom, factory look.These hinges are custom modified and installed as an option in place of the factory hinges when installing the "Hood Lifter". A do it yourself "Custom Hinge Modification Kit" is also available.
