particularly humor and health,but also humor and self-image, humor and
stress reduction, humor and communication and humor and team building.
He is a recognized leader in the field of humor and health and was selected
by an international panel to appear in a documentary on the healing uses

He is an inspirational expert on humor and health.
David has been successful at healing illness and overcoming obstacles
on a personal level.
David received his Master's of Social Work from Arizona State
University in May, 1989 and has been a healthcare professional ever since.
He taught at the University of Arizona: College of Medicine a communication
course on improving bedside manner in a fun way to the delight of medical
students.
Living in Tucson, Arizona with his wife and four children , he devotes
time to his family, his speaking profession and
his autobiographical book "My Left Elbow."
David Jacobson suffered many losses early in
his life
including a diagnosis with a severe form of arthritis at 22 in 1980.
Since then, he has become a living example that you can accomplish
anything if you truely believe in yourself.
His many honors include a "President's
Award" from FlashNet Marketing, Inc. ,
A "National Hero Overcoming Arthritis"
award by the Arthritis Foundation National Office
and the 1997 Wayne Washburn Memorial
