Hi! We're Heather and Michael from San Clemente, California, a little seaside town halfway between San Diego and Los Angeles, and we've been happily married for nine years. We look forward to raising a child together as stay-at-home parents, and we're excited about turning our hearts to open adoption, having a fuller life as a family, and bringing even more love into our home.
What We Have To Share: Michael works from home as a screenwriter and Heather plans to be a stay at home mom, so we have the time and energy to devote to a little one. We love to travel and enjoy sailing, snow skiing and snorkeling, all of which make for great excuses to go somewhere adventurous. We plan to take yearly family ski vacations and trips to exotic places to sail and snorkel. We want to share with our children a love of movies, books, and a thirst for knowledge and new experiences. Above all, we look forward to helping our children discover and develop their own strengths and talents.
Our hearts go out to you in the difficulty of the decision you face and we admire the strength and courage you've shown in considering open adoption. We've wanted children since we married more than nine years ago, and can offer a wonderful life: a home with space to run and play, the gift of time to spend with our children, and a stable loving relationship in which to raise a family.
