About Michael:  "Michael has a background as a film professor and director and now works from home as a screenwriter.  With wide ranging interests and a love of learning, Michael has filled our home with books, art and musical instruments.  He likes to understand how things work; I can picture him explaining to our child why the sky is blue or how to make a compass.  He's a thoughtful, patient husband and I know he'll make a great father." - Heather 

About Heather:  "Heather worked as a film editor for many years, and now looks forward to being a stay-at-home mom.  Her warm sunny spirit brings out the best in people and her sense of humor is one of the many things I cherish about her.  She's a living jukebox, humming around the house; I imagine her singing our baby a lullaby at the end of the day.  She's very nurturing to friends and family, and will be a wonderful mother." - Michael               

Our Town: San Clemente is a charming coastal town with great beaches, miles of hiking trails, and an old fashioned town center with shops and outdoor cafes.  With fireworks at the pier on the Fourth of July and nearby marina and art festivals, there's always something to do.  We're also a short drive from the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park, Sea World,  Disneyland and Legoland.  We wish we had grown up here!       

Friends and Family:  Both our immediate families are thrilled about adding a new member to the family.  Although they don't live nearby (most of Michael's family is in Oklahoma, Heather's is in Texas), they are close to our hearts and we visit often.  We have a wide circle of friends from Los Angeles and here in San Clemente that have become like family.  They're looking forward to being part of our child's life; we already have offers from "aunts" who want to babysit and "uncles" who want to teach our child to surf!
