     ¹A staff will emerge from the stump of Jesse and a shoot will sprout from his roots. ²The spirit of
HASHEM will rest upon him — a spirit of wisdom and understanding, a spirit of counsel and strength, a spirit
of knowledge and fear of HASHEM. ³He will be imbued with a spirit of fear for HASHEM; and will not need to
judge by what his eyes see nor decide by what his ears hear. ⁴He will judge the destitute with
        righteousness, and decide with fairness for the humble of the earth. He will strike [the wicked or] the world with the rod
        of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked.

Dani'el 7:13-14     13I was watching in night visions and behold! with the clouds of heaven one like a man came; he came up to the Ancient of Days, and they brought him before Him. 14He was given dominion, honor and kinship, so that all peoples, nations and languages would serve him; his dominion would be and everlasting dominion that would never pass, and his kingship would never be destroyed.

Prophecy #39: Be adored by great persons

Mizmor 72:10-11 10May the kings of Tarshish and the isles return tribute, the kings of Sheba and Seba offer gifts. 11May all the kings prostrate themselves before him, all the nations serve him. Matti'yahu 2:1-11      1Now after Yeshua was born in Beth-Lechem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, 2saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.” 3When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. 4And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he inquired of them where the Messiah was to be born. 5So they said to him, “In Beth-Lechem of Judea, for thus it is written by the prophet: 6‘Beth-lehem—Ephrathah —you are too small to be among the thousands of Judah, but from you someone will emerge for Me to be a ruler over Israel;.’” Mikhah 5:1 7Then Herod, when he had secretly called the wise men, determined from them what time the star appeared. 8And he sent them to Beth-Lechem and said, “Go and search carefully for the young Child, and when you have found Him, bring back word to me, that I may come and worship Him also.” 9When they heard the king, they departed; and behold, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was. 10When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. 11And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, levonah, and myrrh.

Prophecy #40: Be preceded by one who would announce him

Yesha’yahu 40:3-5      3A voice calls out in the wilderness, ‘Clear the way of HASHEM; make a straight path in the desert, a road for our God. 4Every valley will be raised, and every mountain and hill will be lowered; the crooked will become straight and heights will become valley. 5The glory of HASHEM will be revealed, and all flesh together will see that the mouth of HASHEM has spoken’ Mal’akhi 3:1      1“Behold, I am sending My messenger, and he will clear a path before Me; suddenly the Lord Whom you seek will come to His Sanctuary, and the messenger of the covenant for whom you yearn, behold, he comes,” says HASHEM Master of Legions. Matti'yahu 3:1-3      1In those days Yochanan the Immerser came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, 2and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand! 3For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Yesha’yahu, saying: ‘A voice calls out in the wilderness, “Clear the way of HASHEM; make a straight path in the desert, a road for our God.” ’ ” Yesha’yahu 40:3 Ur 1:17 17He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Eli'yahu, ‘And he will turn back the hearts of the fathers with their sons’ Mal’akhi 3:24(4:5-6) and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for HASHEM. Ur 3:1-6      1Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judea, Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, his brother Philip tetrarch of Iturea and the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias tetrarch of Abilene, 2while Annas and Caiaphas were high priests, the Word of God came to Yochanan the son of Zacharias in the wilderness. 3And he went into all the region around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins, 4as it is written in the book of the words of Yesha’yahu the prophet, saying: “A voice calls out in the wilderness, ‘Clear the way of HASHEM; make a straight path in the desert, a road for our God. 5Every valley will be raised, and every mountain and hill will be lowered; the crooked will become straight and heights will become valley. 6The glory of HASHEM will be revealed, and all flesh together will see that the mouth of HASHEM has spoken.” ’ ” Yesha’yahu 40:3-5

Prophecy #41: Be anointed with the Spirit of Eloheim

Mizmor 45:8(7) 8(7)You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore has God, your God, anointed you, with oil of joy form among your peers. Yesha’yahu 11:2 2The Spirit of HASHEM shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of HASHEM. Yesha’yahu 61:1      1The spirit of my Lord HASHEM God, is upon me, because HASHEM has anointed me to bring tidings to the humbled; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for captives and release from bondage for the imprisoned, Matti'yahu 3:16 16When He had been immersed, Yeshua came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. Yochanan 3:34 34For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure. Acts 10:36-38 36The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Yeshua Ha'Mashiach.— He is Lord of all— 37that word you know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee after the immersion which Yochanan preached: 38how God anointed Yeshua of Nazareth with the is and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

Prophecy #42: Have a ministry of healing

Yesha’yahu 35:5-6 5Then the eyes of the blind will be opened and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped. 6Then the lame man will skip like a gazelle and the tongue of the mute will sing glad song; for water will have broken out in the wilderness, and streams in the desert. Yesha’yahu 42:18     18O deaf ones, listen; and blind ones, gaze to see! Matti'yahu 11:1-6      1Now it came to pass, when Yeshua finished commanding His twelve talmidim, that He departed from there to teach and to preach in their cities. 2And when Yochanan had heard in prison about the works of Messiah, he sent two of his talmidim 3and said to Him, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?” 4Yeshua answered and said to them, “Go and tell Yochanan the things which you hear and see: 5The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them. 6And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.”

Prophecy #43: Have a ministry in the Galilee

Yesha’yahu 8:23-9:1(9:1-2)      8:23(9:1)For He was not wearied the first time [the land] was distressed, when [Assyria] exiled the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but the last time [Assyria] will be severe, by the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, the region of the nations. 2The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelled in the land of the shadow of death, light has shown upon them. Matti'yahu 4:12-16 12Now when Yeshua heard that Yochanan had been put in prison, He departed to Galilee. 13And leaving Nazareth, He came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is by the sea, in the regions of Zebulun and Naphtali, 14that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Yesha’yahu the prophet, saying: 15“the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, by the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, the region of the nations. 16The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelled in the land of the shadow of death, light has shown upon them.” Yesha’yahu 9:1-2

Prophecy #44: Be meek and unostentatious

Yesha’yahu 42:1-2      1Behold My servant, whom I shall uphold; My chosen one, who My soul desired; I have placed My spirit upon him so he can bring forth justice to the nations. 2He will not shout nor raise his voice, not make his voice heard in the street. Matti'yahu 12:15-21 15But when Yeshua knew it, He withdrew from there. And great £multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all. 16Yet He warned them not to make Him known, 17that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Yesha’yahu the prophet, saying: 18“Behold My servant, whom I shall uphold; My chosen one, who My soul desired; I have placed My spirit upon him so he can bring forth justice to the nations.19He will not shout nor raise his voice, not make his voice heard in the street. 20He will not break a bruised reed nor extinguish even flickering flax; but he will administer justice in truth. 21He will not slacken nor tire until he sets justice in the land and islands will long for his teachings.” Yesha’yahu 42:1-4

Prophecy #45: Be sinless and without guile

Yesha’yahu 53:9 9He submitted himself to his grave like wicked men; and the wealthy [submitted] to his executions, for committing no crime and with no deceit in his mouth. Kefa Alef 2:21-22 21For to this you were called, because Messiah also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps: 22“Who committing no crime and with no deceit in his mouth.” Yesha’yahu 53:9

Prophecy #46: Bear the reproaches due others

Mizmor 69:10-11(9-10) 10(9)For the envy of Your House has devoured me, and the disgraces of those who scorn You have fallen upon me. 11(10)And I wept while my soul was fasting, and it was disgraceful to me. Yesha’yahu 53:12 12Therefore, I will assign him a portion from the multitudes and he will divide the mighty as spoils — in return for having poured out his soul for death and being counted among the wicked, for he bore the sin of the multitudes, and prayed for the wicked. Romiyim 15:1-2      1We then who are strong ought to bear with the scruples of the weak, and not to please ourselves. 2Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification. 3For even Messiah did not please Himself; but as it is written, “the disgraces of those who scorn You have fallen upon me.” Mizmor 69:10(9)

Prophecy #47: Be a priest

Mizmor 110:4 4HASHEMhas sworn and will not relent, “You shall be a priest forever, because your are a king of righteousness.” Hebrews 5:1-6      1For every high priest taken from among men is appointed for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins. 2He can have compassion on those who are ignorant and going astray, since he himself is also subject to weakness. 3Because of this he is required as for the people, so also for himself, to offer sacrifices for sins. 4And no man takes this honor to himself, but he who is called by God, just as Aaron was. 5So also Messiah did not glorify Himself to become High Priest, but it was He who said to Him: “You are My son, I have begotten you this day” Mizmor 2:7 6As He also says in another place: “You shall be a priest forever, because you are a king of righteousness.” Mizmor 110:4 Hebrews 6:19-20 19This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, 20where the forerunner has entered for us, even Yeshua, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek. Hebrews 7:14-17 14For it is evident that our Lord arose from Judah, of which tribe Moshe spoke nothing concerning priesthood. 15And it is yet far more evident if, in the likeness of Melchizedek, there arises another priest 16who has come, not according to the law of a fleshly commandment, but according to the power of an endless life. 17For He testifies: “You shall be a priest forever, because you are a king of righteousness.” Mizmor 110:4

Prophecy #48: Enter the Temple with authority

Hagai 2:6-8 6For thus said HASHEM Master of Legions: There will be one more; it is a small one. I will shake the heavens and the earth and the sea and the dry land. 7I will shake all the nations, and the precious tings of all the nations will arrive here, and I will fill this Temple with glory,  said HASHEM Master of Legions. 8Mine is the silver and mine is the gold — the Word of HASHEM Master of Legions. 9The glory of this latter Temple will be greater than [that of] the first, said HASHEM Master of Legions; and I will grant peace to this place — the Word of HASHEM Master of Legions. Mal’akhi 3:1      1Behold, I am sending My messenger, and he will clear a path before Me; suddenly the Lord Whom you seek will come to His Sanctuary, and the messenger of the covenant for whom you yearn, behold he comes,  says HASHEM Master of Legions. Matti'yahu 21:12-25 12Then Yeshua went into the Temple of God and drove out all those who bought and sold in the Temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. 13And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ Yesha’yahu 56:7 but you have made it a ‘cave of criminals’” Yirme’yahu 7:11 14Then the blind and the lame came to Him in the Temple, and He healed them. 15But when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that He did, and the children crying out in the Temple and saying, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” they were indignant 16and said to Him, “Do You hear what these are saying?” And Yeshua said to them, “Yes. Have you never read, ‘Out of the mouths of babes and sucklings You have established strength’?” Mizmor 8:3(2) 17Then He left them and went out of the city to Bethany, and He lodged there. 18Now in the morning, as He returned to the city, He was hungry. 19And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, “Let no fruit grow on you ever again.” Immediately the fig tree withered away. 20And when the talmidim saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree wither away so soon?” 21So Yeshua answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. 22And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” 23Now when He came into the Temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people confronted Him as He was teaching, and said, “By what authority are You doing these things? And who gave You this authority?” 24But Yeshua answered and said to them, “I also will ask you one thing, which if you tell Me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things: 25the baptism of Yochanan—where was it from? From heaven or from men?” Ur 2:27-38 27So he came by the Spirit into the Beit Ha'Miqdash. And when the parents brought in the child Yeshua, to do for Him according to the custom of the law, 28he took Him up in his arms and blessed God and said: 29“Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace, according to Your word; 30For my eyes have seen Your salvation 31which You have prepared before the face of all peoples, 32a light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of Your people Israel.” 33And Joseph and His mother marveled at those things which were spoken of Him. 34Then Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary His mother, “Behold, this Child is destined for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which will be spoken against 35(yes, a sword will pierce through your own soul also), that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.” 36Now there was one, Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was of a great age, and had lived with a husband seven years from her virginity; 37and this woman was a widow of about eighty-four years, who did not depart from the Beit Ha'Miqdash, but served God with fasting and prayers night and day. 38And coming in that instant she gave thanks to HASHEM, and spoke of Him to all those who looked for redemption in Jerusalem. Ur 2:45-50 45So when they did not find Him, they returned to Jerusalem, seeking Him. 46Now so it was that after three days they found Him in the Temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions. 47And all who heard Him were astonished at His understanding and answers. 48So when they saw Him, they were amazed; and His mother said to Him, “Son, why have You done this to us? Look, Your father and I have sought You anxiously.” 49And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father's business?” 50But they did not understand the statement which He spoke to them. Yochanan 2:13-22 13Now the Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Yeshua went up to Jerusalem. 14And He found in the Temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers doing business. 15When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the Temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers' money and overturned the tables. 16And He said to those who sold doves, “Take these things away! Do not make My Father's house a house of merchandise!” 17Then His talmidim remembered that it was written, “The envy of Your House has devoured me” Mizmor 69:10(9) 18So the Jews answered and said to Him, “What sign do You show to us, since You do these things?” 19Yeshua answered and said to them, “Destroy this Temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” 20Then the Jews said, “It has taken forty-six years to build this Temple, and will You raise it up in three days?” 21But He was speaking of the Temple of His body. 22Therefore, when He had risen from the dead, His talmidim remembered that He had said this to them; and they believed the Scripture and the word which Yeshua had said.

Prophecy #49: Be hated without cause

Mizmor 69:5(4) 5(4)More abundant than the hairs of my head are those who hate me without cause. Mighty are those who would cut me off, those who are unjustly my foes; what I never stole I must restore. Yesha’yahu 49:7      7Thus says HASHEM, the Redeemer of Israel and their Holy One, to the despised soul, to the on loathed by nations, to the servant of rulers: Kings will see [you] and arise; officers will prostrate themselves, because of  HASHEM, Who is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, Who has chosen you. Yochanan 7:47-49 47Then the Pharisees answered them, “Are you also deceived? 48Have any of the rulers or the Pharisees believed in Him? 49But this crowd that does not know the law is accursed.” Yochanan 15:24-25 24If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have seen and also hated both Me and My Father. 25But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, ‘They hate me without a cause.’ Mizmor 69:5(4)

Prophecy #50: Be undesired and rejected by his own people

Mizmor 69:9(8) 9(8)I became a stranger to my brothers, and an alien to my mother's sons. Yesha’yahu 53:2 2Formerly he grew like a sapling or like a root from arid ground; he had neither form nor grandeur; we saw him, but without such visage that we could desire him. Yesha’yahu 63:3    3I alone have trodden a winepress, not a man from the nations was with Me; I trod on them in My anger and trampled them in My wrath, and their lifeblood spurted out on My garments, so I soiled all My garments. Mark 6:1-3      1Then He went out from there and came to His own country, and His disciples followed Him. 2And when the Sabbath had come, He began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him were astonished, saying, “Where did this Man get these things? And what wisdom is this which is given to Him, that such mighty works are performed by His hands! 3Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?” So they were offended at Him. Ur 9:58 58And Yeshua said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.” Yochanan 1:11 11He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. Yochanan 7:3-5 3His brothers therefore said to Him, “Depart from here and go into Judea, that Your talmidim also may see the works that You are doing. 4For no one does anything in secret while he himself seeks to be known openly. If You do these things, show Yourself to the world.” 5For even His brothers did not believe in Him.

Prophecy #51: Be rejected by the Jewish leadership

Mizmor 118:22-23 22The stone the builders despised has become the cornerstone. 23This emanated from HASHEM; it is wondrous in our eyes. Matti'yahu 21:42 42Yeshua said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: ‘The stone the builders despised has become the cornerstone. This emanated from HASHEM; ’ ?” Mizmor 118:22-23 Yochanan 7:48 48Have any of the rulers or the Pharisees believed in Him?

Prophecy #52: Be plotted against by Jews and Gentiles together

Mizmor 2:1-2      1Why do nations gather, and regimes talk in vain? 2The kings of the earth take their stand and the princes conspire secretly, against HASHEM and against His anointed: 3“Let us cut their cords and let us cast off their ropes from ourselves.” Acts 4:27-28 27For truly against Your holy Servant Yeshua, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together 28to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose determined before to be done.

Prophecy #53: Be betrayed by a friend

Mizmor 41:19(9) 10(9)Even my ally in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, has raised his heel to trample me. Matti'yahu 26:21-50 21Now as they were eating, He said, “Assuredly, I say to you, one of you will betray Me.” 22And they were exceedingly sorrowful, and each of them began to say to Him, “Lord, is it I?” 23He answered and said, “He who dipped his hand with Me in the dish will betray Me. 24The Son of Man indeed goes just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born.” 25Then Judas, who was betraying Him, answered and said, “Rabbi, is it I?” He said to him, “You have said it.” 26And as they were eating, Yeshua took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the talmidim and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” 27Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. 29But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom.” 30And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives. 31Then Yeshua said to them, “All of you will be made to stumble because of Me this night, for it is written: ‘Strike the shepherd and let the flock disperse!’ Z’kharyah 13:7  32But after I have been raised, I will go before you to Galilee.” 33Kefa answered and said to Him, “Even if all are made to stumble because of You, I will never be made to stumble.” 34Yeshua said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you that this night, before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” 35Kefa said to Him, “Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You!” And so said all the talmidim. 36Then Yeshua came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to the talmidim, “Sit here while I go and pray over there.” 37And He took with Him Kefa and the two sons of Zebedee, and He began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed. 38Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me.” 39He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.” 40Then He came to the talmidim and found them sleeping, and said to Kefa, “What! Could you not watch with Me one hour? 41Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” 42Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done.” 43And He came and found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy. 44So He left them, went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. 45Then He came to His talmidim and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners. 46Rise, let us be going. See, My betrayer is at hand.” 47And while He was still speaking, behold, Judas, one of the twelve, with a great multitude with swords and clubs, came from the chief priests and elders of the people. 48Now His betrayer had given them a sign, saying, “Whomever I kiss, He is the One; seize Him.” 49Immediately he went up to Yeshua and said, “Greetings, Rabbi!” and kissed Him. 50But Yeshua said to him, “Friend, why have you come?” Yochanan 13:18-20 18I do not speak concerning all of you. I know whom I have chosen; but that the Scripture may be fulfilled, ‘Even my ally in who I trusted, who ate my bread, has raised his heel to trample me.’ Mizmor 41:9 19Now I tell you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe that I am He. 20Most assuredly, I say to you, he who receives whomever I send receives Me; and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me. Acts 1:15-19 15And in those days Kefa stood up in the midst of the disciples (altogether the number of names was about a hundred and twenty), and said, 16“Men and brethren, this Scripture had to be fulfilled, which the Ruach Ha'Kodesh spoke before by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Yeshua; 17for he was numbered with us and obtained a part in this ministry.” 18(Now this man purchased a field with the wages of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst open in the middle and all his entrails gushed out. 19“And it became known to all those dwelling in Jerusalem; so that field is called in their own language, Akel Dama, that is, Field of Blood.)” 20For it is written in the Book of Tehillim:            ‘Let their palace be desolate,’ Mizmor 69:26(25) and,          ‘may another take his position;’ Mizmor 109:8
