Peasch or Passover is my most favorite
holiday. It's the time of year that I get to share the story of redemption not only with
my family, but also with Christian congregations who are eager to learn more about their
Hebrew roots.
I conducted my first Passover Seder in 1999. I had been
in my transition to Messianic Judaism for a little over a year and it was
both thrilling
and intimidating at the same time. It thrilled me because I was actually participating
in a celebration that Yeshua
had participated in every year of His
life. It was scary because I came to the realization that I was sitting in the same seat
the Master occupied at the last Seder.
The Festivals of
HASHEM
describe the intricate details of the redemption process. Passover marks the beginning of
that process. Each succeeding feast brings us closer to the final redemption of Yom
Kippur. Some of the explanation for the feasts is long, but I encourage you to take the
time to read and ponder each festival as it relates to salvation and redemption.
During Passover week, three of the seven festivals of
the redemption process occur. Pesach, Chag Ha'Matzah and Chag Ha'Bikkur.
Let us begin our journey. The following links detail
the Torah of Pesach Redemption accomplished with the shedding of the blood of the
Lamb of God which takes away the sins of the world...
