How the Lamb is to be Eaten

Sh’mot 12:11

11So shall you eat it: your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and you staff in your hand; you shall eat it in haste — it is a Pesach-offering to  HASHEM.
  1. Loins girded. Be ready to go. Don't let anything hinder you as you leave Egypt.
    Ephesians 6
    14Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

  2. Sandals on your feet.
    Ephesians 6
    15and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

  3. Your staff in your hand. The staff was needed not only for walking but also for protection.
    Ephesians 6
    17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of Eloheim;

  4. You shall eat it hurriedly.
    a.  The meal had to be completed before the Exodus began.
    b.  There is no time for the believer to dwell in the world; the return of the Lord is near.

  5. It is the Passover of HASHEM. This is an action of Eloheim against unrepentant man. Those who will apply the blood of Yeshua to the door of their hearts will be passed from death unto life.
