Modifications to the Invacare Arrow

The Arrow on the left is the before photo. The one on the right is the after photo.

At first glance they look very similar. But there is a world of difference in ride and indoor maneuverability. The ride is improved by lowering the overall center of gravity by lowering the seat height. This removed much of the wheelie tendency.

The indoor maneuverability was improved by simply making the chair narrower and shorter.

The modifications can be broke into four main areas, although none of the four modifications are stand-alone.
