Ozone recap by David
Williams (AJ5W). |
ORB-19 Flight Path
Looks like a missed approach!
:)
ORB-19 picture taken in flight at
92,000 feet.
I overlaid the actual position reports.
Thanks to David (AJ5W) for the details to the following picture.
That appears to be Robert S Kerr Lake in Sequoyah/Le Flore Cos.
Ft.Gibson
Lake is visible underneath the near cloud shield,
Greenleaf Lake is just above the lake, the shiny river is the
Arkansas,
the Canadian River is visible just past the Arkansas (also flowing into Robert S Kerr),
and the
eastern tip of Lake Eufaula (along the Canadian) is visible on the far right
portion of the picture.
Thus, the camera was pointed SE when this picture was taken at
approximately
85,000 feet!.

range and at 94,000 feet (17.8 miles) in altitude.
(Sony digital 8 camcorder - full optical zoom - handheld at launch site.)

Landing!
Anyone for Carl's Jr. takeout?

David (AJ5W) is happy to get the ozone monitor back.

All packed up and ready to go eat.
