Assisted the Atkinson Research Group studying Intracavity Laser Spectroscopy (ILS) for use in microcontamination control. During my employment at the Atkinson lab my primary task was to design and construct a control circuit for a supersonic gas jet valve used in ILS experiments. A secondary task was to design, lay out and align an intracavity laser beam expander. Through these projects I have knowledge of pumped dye, superluminescent diode (external cavity) and Helium-Neon lasers.
