Berger Entrepreneurship Program
In 1997/1998 I participated in the Berger Entrepreneurship
Program in the Eller College of Business and Public Administration at the
University of Arizona. The focus of this program was the development
of a business plan for a start-up technology company. The completed
plan was presented at several business plan competitions. The plan
was selected as a finalist in the BLR Data Business Plans Competition in
April 1998, and received Honorable Mention in the University of Texas at
Austin Graduate School of Business, Moot Corp. Business Plan Competition
in March of 1998. Also in March of 1998, the plan was selected as
the Best Written Plan at the University of Oregon New Venture Competion.
Both the Moot Corp. Competition and the New Venture Competion were
international business plan competitions.
