PRIMARY FIELD OF EXPERIENCE
I have thirteen years of experience in computer art design, 3D computer imagery, and animation. Most of this experience has been in the development of CD-ROM and network-based training, websites, marketing material, and interactive multimedia projects. I have been responsible for solving visual design problems, as well as generating creative artistic solutions for any medium a client desires. I have also been in charge of teams of people, facilitating, mentoring, and leading them to one common goal.

- My main responsibility as a System Analyst for the Information Technology (IT) department is supporting the web development technologies and web applications. I have overhauled and streamlined the SGS website and intranet sites, having them validate with the W3C standards and comply with Section 508 §1194.22. I also coded the sites with flexibility in mind: run on various assistive technologies; fluid design for page zooming; and work with various browser such as Firefox, Safari, Opera, and Internet Explorer.

- I was part of the Research and Development (R&D) team that was developing a new Learning Management System (LMS) from the ground up. As a graphic designer I was in charge of creating flexible layouts, colorful schemes, and enticing themes for the Graphical User Interface (GUI). In addition to the design, I was involved in the GUI code development. My tasks for GUI coding involved creating templates, generating components, and setting up layouts in XHTML and CSS.

- As lead designer I was in charge of mentoring artist and web developers, supervising their work and teaching new techniques for creating and programming projects more efficiently. I was involved in remotely managing an International development team. I also had the responsibility for programming flash technologies, designing GUI’s, creating multimedia content, developing engaging Web applications and programming SCORM engines for projects that involve the studio team.

- Contracted to Verizon, I worked with a team to create and maintain various company partners’ web sites. I was responsible for communicating the clients’ needs graphically and then programming the content in HTML and/or Flash to be displayed on the web. I also designed and programmed special offer promotions that were displayed on the web.
