We
purchased our RV a 2003 Damon Challenger in August 2002. After
retiring in January 2006, we spent about 3 week in South Florida
(Disney and Busch
Gardens) and was on the road
about 4 months this past summer. We continue to travel on weekends in
the Florida Panhandle
and Alabama areas
and will be back on the road this summer (2007) for 30 days at a
time. Four months away from home this soon after retiring is too long
but subject to change. Previous trips outside the home area include:
Charlotte, NC (daughter
lives there), Nashville, TN (attended
a seminar), and Lafayette, LA (attended
a ship reunion (USS Shangri-LA CVA-38). In June 04, we
took a 3 week trip that included a visit to West Virginia, and
Reading, PA attended
another Shangri-La reunion.
