I was born in Fort Worth,Texas.   During my early childhood, I spend time in Lockhart and Waco, Texas and my teen years in Fort Worth where I attend Polytechnic High School.  At the age of 17, I joined the Navy.   I was on active duty from November 1957 until December 1977; retiring with a little over 20 years as a Chief Petty Officer (Cryptologic Technician “O” Branch).  Below is a list of my duty station assignments.  After retiring from the Navy, I took a civil service job at Naval Air Station, Pensacola and retired 3 Jan 2006.  I completed my active duty and government service with over 48 years serving the Navy.  Picture was taken in 1977.
