The wind started blowing as we left Colorado. A stiff cross-breeze followed us all
the way in Nebraska. Here's a monument to something which is built across the
highway. Could not get a better photo because there is a big sign saying: do not
stop or slow down!
We stopped at a Holiday Inn outside Grand Island for the night, selected for its indoor
pool. Woke up to find the car coated with ice - back to winter! But the roads were
fine. Today we stop in Nevada, Iowa, home of some of Henry's old Air Force buddies.
Hint: this is not the touristy part of the trip. :-)
