We saw a whole herd of antelope on the way out (this is in the middle of nowhere).
These are the fastest animals in North America, with speeds up to 40 mph.
We passed the 1,000 mile point on the way through Flagstaff today. Got to the Grand Canyon right before lunch. We left the cameras in the car on our first hike, so not too many photos today. Oops!

We went to watch the sunset. A very popular pastime; but it was not so impressive this
