Due
to a generous donation by the Nathan
Cummings Foundation, Major League Baseball Players Alumni
distributed Padre memorabelia, signed baseballs and new and
retired beanie babies on July 7th to kids at Childrens Hospital.
Retired major league baseball stars included Ed Herrmann,
Randy Jones, Chris Cannizzaro and Mitch Taylor
In addition, many little league teams and High School teams
in the San Diego area were awarded baseballs to help prepare
them for all-star competition. A heartfelt thanks to the Cummings
Foundation for their generous support of today's youth.
