What kind of client do you work best with?
 
       


Any client that wants growth. A company's sales volume isn't as important as its business "mind set". Management's ability to see opportunities "step outside the box" and approach them in a strategic integrated manner. Growth is achieved by implementing strategic-synergistic marketing objectives. Many clients have been with us for years, we are a relationship business and build relationships for clients with end-users.

 
       
Will you work on a project basis?
 
       
Yes, although we prefer not to. Sometimes, do to particular circumstances, this approach becomes the most practical way to achieve the client's objectives. Each client is different-there's no cookie cutter approach here.
 
       
What happens when you get too busy?
 
       
Because of the way the firm has been reorganized we are handling more work through our project managers who are all senior people in their fields. We are selective, THO will not commit to a program unless we know we can carry it out in the proper manner.
 
       
Often, we are asked to assist on the capital development side. Can you help me raise funds for my company?
 
     
In the past, we have assisted companies in private capital development, bridge financing, mezzanine financing, acquisitions, roll-outs, and IPOs these programs are facilitated together with Mark Brown, a managing partner. Mark is a licensed securities broker-dealer. We have worked very successfully together for more than 15 years.
 
       
You've been around for 30 years and have done all this great work, why don't more people know more about you?
 
       
Frankly, we don't blow our own horn. Maybe we should. How about banner, ads like one of our competitors? We think not, Holmes has always felt the work will speak for itself. Some say, we're the "best-kept-secret" in the industry. Sure, we've won hundreds of awards; all that and a dollar will buy a cup of coffee. The real awards are in brand's success. If it doesn't sell it's not creative.
 
       
I have two retail stores and want to grow, can you help me?
 
     
We understand natural products from "seed-to-stomach". THO has assisted many retailers in growing their operations. To name a few: Mrs. Gooches, Bread of Life, Kathy's Ranch Market, Molly Stone's, Irvine Ranch Markets, Farmers Markets, Farm To Market, Pacific Coast Greens, Akins' Natural Foods, and Chamberlains' Natural Foods Markets. Holmes understands retail and contributes a strong background in operations and marketing. After implementation of programs, sales often increase 10 to 30 points. It's all about relationship building and marketing.
