SYMBOLS

They
have existed since the beginning of recorded time, yet this most elementary
form of visual communication still remains an important part of our society.
Ironically, symbolic communication is assuming an even greater role in
today's noisy, cluttered, fast-paced "information society". We are subjected
daily to literally thousands of visual images and messages. Our minds
only absorb a fraction of the information. Thus, more becomes less. Increased
competition for our attention demands that our communication efforts be
more effective, that we telegraph our messages more quickly, clearly,
and concisely than ever.

IMPRESSIONS

If
corporate identification can be likened to the clothes of the corporation,
then it behooves one to carefully select the tailor. The Holmes Organization
specializes in producing corporate identity systems that help companies
quickly communicate meaningful impressions. Impressions build stature
by tastefully reflecting the essence of the client's business or service.
Often assignments encompass market research and in-depth analysis, nomenclature
development, marketing testing, signage, packaging, stationary and vehicular
application.

THE
PROCESS

First
a meeting is held to determine needs. A comprehensive proposal is then
prepared suggesting appropriate identification applications (where necessary)
and detailing all steps of the working relationship. In-depth meetings
are then scheduled with the client, and with his publics, if appropriate.
Objectives are cleared defined and agreed upon before the creative process
begins. Ideas and graphics are presented in comprehensive layout form.
Typically, three executions are included in the presentation. Final artwork
is then submitted for approval before implementation begins. The results
of the program are often immediately apparent. The long-term benefits
of increased market awareness and stature are the true measure of the
quality of art, design, creative thinking and strategic positioning.

BEGINNING

If
you have decided that now is the time to enhance your image, increase
your corporate awareness and present a uniform identity that truly represents
your company's strengths, The Holmes Organization is interested in talking
with you. In today's noisy market place, he who whispers, shouts. |
