Saint Vincent de Paul Food Pantry

Hours of Operation: 1st and 3rd Fridays, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

St. Vincent de Paul (1581-1660) was born in Pouy, France and ordained to the priesthood in 1600. He devoted himself to the service of the poor by organizing regular distributions of relief and visiting their homes to discover their needs and circumstances. His legacy continues today in the charity of those who contribute to and organize the distribution work of the Food Pantry. Poor boxes are set up throughout the Church to support the Food Pantry, and contributions of food are always appreciated.


Catholic Youth Group

Holy Name sponsors a Youth Group in order to promote a firm bond of spiritual and social unity among the youth of the parish. The Group meets in the rectory on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. For information about joining this Group or how you can help support it,

The Men of St. Joseph

The Pastor has established this confraternity for the purpose of following St. Jospeh--the man closest to Jesus. The goal is to be committed to Jesus Christ. The Men of St. Joseph provide the opportunity for men to lead holier lives. That is, to become strong men of God; seeking to know, love and serve Him better. This will be accomplised by helping men in: (1) building strong, loving marriages and family relationships; (2) building strong relationships with other faithful men to strengthen community; (3) living more fully the sacramental life of the Church; and (4) learning about the issues that are most important to our spiritual, emotional and physical well-being.

Holy Name Scholar Club

The Scholar Club provides much needed financial support to Holy Name School through ticket sales during the school year. Tickets are $40 which may be paid over a 20 week period at $2 per week. Here's what you get: weekly drawings for $25, a brunch at the Marriott (fall series) or a dinner at the Venus de Milo (spring series) for the final drawings, a First Prize drawing of $1,000, Second and Third Prize drawings of $100 and two $50 prize drawings. These events are also great opportunities for socializing with fellow parishioners and friends of Holy Name School. Please call the rectory at (401) 272-4515 to obtain tickets.
