Home STARS welcome President Bush to Phoenix
When John Kerry and President Bush came to Tempe for the 3rd and final Presidential debate, 75 Home STARS and other homeschoolers joined the Bush campaign on busses to greet the Presidential motorcade, holding up signs and waving. After the campaign work, some Home STARS were rewarded with special VIP seats at the debate watch party at Bank One Ballpark, which featured an appearance by President Bush, Laura Bush, and their twin daughters, Jenna and Barbara. The First Lady even waved to member Kristen Sandoval, who was extremely excited about the event.
