Sacaton is a small rural town within the Gila River Indian Reservation. The town center has a small grocery store, post-office, gas station, and is 30 miles south of Phoenix. Most students go to Phoenix to buy groceries for the student house. There is a wellness center located a few minutes drive from the student housing; complete with aerobic, weight equipment and a basketball court. The wellness center is available to students free of charge.
