Clinic
4000 square foot building with 5 treatment rooms, hand therapy room, 2 large exercise mats, full circuit cybex weight equipment, free weights, treadmills, stairclimber, elliptical, recumbent bikes, upright bikes, Nu-steps, UBE's. Modalities on-site include multiple e-stim/US/combo units, biofeedback, jobst/unaboot, parafin, and iontophoresis. We are equiped for wound care, but this is now primarily handled by podiatry. We also carry splint making material for hands.
We have a large selection of durable medical equipment that we are able to provide free of charge to our patients. We stock common braces for most joints, compression socks, ambulatory assistive devices, TENS units, etc.. Any custom bracing needs are provided by a orthotist/prothetist who comes to our clinic bi-monthly.
The clinic hours are from 8-7 Monday through Thursday, 8-6 Friday. We schedule patients generally 60 minutes for evals, and 30 minutes for ensuing treatments. Exceptions can occur if patients require more one on one time. The atomsphere is casual and the pace would generally be considered slow to moderate. This allows more opportunity for teaching, instruction, questions, feedback.
The clinic is a relaxed atmosphere and the dress code consists of professional or casual business attire. Shirts with collars, and khaki type pants are the norm. Blue jeans are allowed on Fridays (casual day). For more specific questions, our formal policy is here: Dress Code .
The dress code has never been an issue with any of our students.
