Housing/Meals

Housing and meals (2 per day) are provided free for all students.

The student quarters are located about 1 mile from the hospital.  The house is located on the premesis of the old hospital.  It is a furnished 4 bedroom house with:

Living room

Kitchen (with microwave, refridgerator, stove, pots / pans / dishes)

Bathrooms (2)

Washer & Dryer

Phone in the kitchen and jacks in most bedrooms (local calls only- can receive

     long distance calls)  The phone number is-  520-562-3991  It is possible to

     get internet access, but the phone is shared by all roomates.

Television and VCR

Sheets, blankets, and pillows  

Iron  

The house is primarily shared by physical therapy, dental, and pharmacy students.  This is a unique opportunity that allows for shared experiences.  The students have overwhelmingly enjoyed having other "roommates" for support, recreational activities and trips on the weekends.

Meals-  breakfast, lunch, dinner provided 7 days / week at the hospital.

Transportation-  There is no hospital transportation available from the student

    quarters to the clinic.  It is possible to walk or bike to the hospital, but it is

     highly recommended that any student considering this site to have

     transportation.
