We decided to go underground into a lava tube.

Isn't it romantical?

Once you're down in the tube, the walking gets easier and the roof opens up.

About a mile in the tube stops. This is me at the end.

We had most of the tube to ourselves, but eventually others came along. We could see their lights and hear them long before they showed up.
