Enzo:  Hi, My name is Enzo. I am about 5 years old, I am house trained and an easy to care for kinda guy. I am so sweet, loving and gracious. My previous home didn’t take care of my broken leg properly and it was hurting me so bad, I had previously had at least 3 surgeries to try to fix the broken leg. When I came into rescue my plate was sticking out of my leg. The rescue people took me to the surgeon and I heard her tell the rescue people that we should probably remove my leg. I was kind of scared, but I can’t tell you how much better I feel now with out that leg. After the surgery I heard the surgeon tell the rescue people that there was 3 centimeters of bone missing and it was so infected so there was no saving the leg. But I don’t care, I get around so much better with out it and I am no longer in pain.

This has been great place for me, I have been in my foster home since September and am really looking to get settled into my own home.

I am easy to care for but I do come with issues, traumatic things must have happened in my previous life before rescue, and it is taking me awhile to work through them, but I am getting better! I am leery of new people but my foster dad has helped me so much with this. Most recently I have been going to the dog park and seeking out attention from people! I can’t even believe I am coming out of my shell, it also amazes me. I have learned from my foster sister how to do doggie things like bark and run around. I really love treats too! I know, I know, who would want to adopt me knowing that I might be shy at first, I understand, but just think of me like this:

1. You will never have to put in new carpet because I ruined the old one.
2. You will never have to worry about coming home and finding your favorite chair or sofa torn to pieces because you left me home all day.
3. You will never have to have someone come over to clean the corner or back of your chair or sofa because I didn't want to go outside to potty.
4. Just think of all the money you will save with me!
5. I love nothing more than to snuggle up on a couch or my own dog bed.
6. I love to take walks but certainly do not require having one all the time; I am more of a couch type of guy. Actually I don't prefer to take walks by the rescue people say I need to.
7. I could be a really good companion for your current dog that you feel guilty about leaving home alone all day while you are at work, I can make your day less guilt free!

Lots of folks are afraid to adopt a dog like me, they are afraid that I have too many issues, it might take me a week or two to warm up but I promise I will! I am such a good, easy going boy. Please consider adopting me!

Roman is the sweetest little puppy ever! Lots of kisses and nose bites this one has to give.

Roman is a 5 month old puppy who came to us with a broken leg, he has had surgery and is currently recuperating, he should be available for adoption around mid January. This guy is smart and has caught on to the potty paper area quickly. Cuteness, cuteness.

Zero is a wonderfully high spirited happy blue and white male nuetered Italian Greyhound, who is 4 years old. He is current on vaccines and has a microchip.

He came from a puppy mill and was delivered at 4 months of age to a pet store in South Pasadena. Zero's first exam showed him to be healthy but around a week later he returned with a nasty injured rear paw. It turned out he had nerve damage, and the leg had to be amputated.

Despite this Zero is the alpha of his pack, He loves to play chase, and will bark at you so you will chase him. He also loves to play with his toys.

He gets along with cats and dogs. He loves to play with cats and wrestle with them, though the cats always win! He seems to knows which ones wants to play and which ones don't. He just walks away from the cats that dont want to play. He also loves meeting new dogs, and likes to play rough. He was raised with a 100lb American Bulldog and he was the alpha dog in that relationship too! He can be slightly food aggressive with other dogs, though he is fine around his food with people.

He loves people but may need to be approached slowly because he can somtimes be shy. But once he sees you mean him no harm he'll be all over you. Alot of the time he will just run up to any stranger looking for love. Zero loves to be held and is the perfact lap dog. He loves bedding and blankets and always wants to be warm. And he loves sneaking and snooping around for fallen food. He has a little bit of separation anxiety, but is fine when crated. He is good crated on car trips.

The perfect home for Zero would be a home with other dogs. He does need help with potty training so someone willing to work with him on that would be great.

Piper Is an outgoing 5 yr old male who is an absolute joy! He is a happy guy with loads of energy, and all he wants to do is play play play! He loves to fetch balls and toys, and enjoys being with kids of all ages as well as other dogs. He is not a huge barker, but a great watch dog, so if a noise catches his attention, he is out searching for it. He doesn't see out of one eye, but has no problems getting around.

Super affectionate he's quite the snuggle bunny. He is housebroken and current with his vaccinations. His perfect forever home would be with a family that has dogs and children, cats are OK, but it depends on the cat. Some cats he will chase and others he won't, just depending on how skittish the kitties are.

Hi my name is Prancer; I am a beautiful white, 2 year old IG. I recently got lost from my home but a kind man found me and made sure that I got to a safe place where I am loved, have plenty to eat and IG friends to chase around. I love my foster family but what I would really like is a forever home where I can lay in the sun, play and learn to be the best IG ever. My forever home needs to be very special because I am deaf (someone hurt my ears trying to clean them). I get startled easily because I can't hear but I am very smart and can learn quickly if someone would teach me. I really like people and other dogs and I especially like laying in the sun on the doggie hammock. I use a doggie door and always to potty outside, because I am a good boy. I like to take walks and run around the yard with my foster brothers and I like to steal the homemade biscotti cookies that my foster grandmother makes; I am a very good jumper and can even jump on the kitchen table and counters. There are wonderful treasures up there. Since I get startled easily, I would like to choose a home that only has big people in it and I for sure want a home with a sunny area, yard and a doggie playmate. I am storing up extra face licks and nose nibbles for my forever humans; I am excitedly waiting for you to find me.
