Piper Is an outgoing 5 yr old male who is an absolute joy! He is a happy guy with loads of energy, and all he wants to do is play play play! He loves to fetch balls and toys, and enjoys being with kids of all ages as well as other dogs. He is not a huge barker, but a great watch dog, so if a noise catches his attention, he is out searching for it. He doesn't see out of one eye, but has no problems getting around.

Super affectionate he's quite the snuggle bunny. He is housebroken and current with his vaccinations. His perfect forever home would be with a family that has dogs and children, cats are OK, but it depends on the cat. Some cats he will chase and others he won't, just depending on how skittish the kitties are.

Maple: Miss Maple is a very sweet soul. She is a cuddle bug who likes everyone (kids, dogs and men). She is 8 years old and moves a little slower than a puppy, so a home without small children would be more ideal. She came to us with a little extra weight, but I am sure with proper diet and exercise she will be fit in no time. She has been very good with potty habits, uses the dog door with ease. We are working on crate training, she seems to have a bit of anxiety when left alone in the crate.

Maple has what is called Oxalate Crystals, this may require her to be on a prescription diet to keep it controlled but not matter, she is sweet and delightful and will make a great companion.

Teddy:  Teddy is a Handsome 5-6 year old male who is loyal to his person. Because he extremely intelligent Teddy needs a strong loving person who will not let him take over the house, he has excelled in his obedience class has earned his CGC (canine good citizen) title and rather enjoys that special time of one on one working with his person, now he is working on Rally classes and is doing very well, it has been recommended by the instructors that Teddy continue on to competition. I believe that Teddy would also love to do some agility.

Teddy came into rescue from a spotty background which may include abuse, and because of this, he has some fear issues when it comes time to clip his toenails and veterinary care, because of this high anxiety he is on antidepressants, he does really well on the medication and will more than likely need to stay on them.  He does ok in my home with other IG's, he does really well with the dogs who have a passive personality, however he prefers to be alone and not so much part of the pack. He likes his crate but really loves the bed, he is an 18 pound lap dog. He is house trained and will use the dog door, he loves to walk and does excellent on leash. He loves to have his teeth brushed and his belly rubbed.
Teddy is a complex fella and is not the dog for just anyone. Teddy needs someone who is savvy with dogs and training, and willing to take on this wonderful dog that does not come without issues.

If you ever thought to yourself I would love to have a dog to do rally or agility, to compete in these type of activity's Teddy is your dog, best thing it will only take a bit of work from you, Teddy is already on his way to training, he just needs someone to love him and take over.

After reading this and you are still interested in Teddy please contact me.   bjb5557@sbcglobal.net

Zachary is estimated to be about 13 years old, he is a mellow little guy who loves to snooze warmly under his blanket. He loves to follow me around and is in the kitchen if he thinks there are treats to be had or food to be dropped. His little tail gets to waggin and he will come and greet me and show me he wants to be loved but is still just a little afraid. He cries in his sleep sometimes and wakes with a start. He is a good boy and settles back down as soon as he realizes he is ok. I think this will go away in time. Zach goes potty outside and knows the doggy door. He has never had an accident in the house. I don't think he sees very well in the dark and so he is locked in his crate at night with a potty crate. Zach will use his potty crate inside with pee pads if he is crated and has to go potty. Zach usually sleeps through all night and has a clean potty crate in the morning, especially since he got used to the new food in his foster home.

Zach loves his crate and his bed and will go to his crate to sleep with the door open. He gets along well with the other dogs although he tends to get a little scared, due to his size and bad eye sight, so if things get too busy he will scream and run to his bed.

Zachary has some leash skills and likes to go out. Zachary is a very smart little guy and wants nothing more than to be warm and make you happy.

Robbie is a two year old beautiful boy, he is silly and has a great sense of humor. He uses a dog door and is house trained, but as with all IG's he always will need reinforcement and to be reminded to go out to potty at times.   Though this boy is beautiful and funny, he does have some issues. We got Robbie because he had a broken leg, we fixed the leg and he is recovering well. Robbie's biggest problem is he will not let you pick him up, if you sit down he will eventually come and sit by you and even get in your lap for a snuggle, but he will not allow you to touch him when he is on the floor. I think in a quiet home, with one on one time, lots of gentle patience and love maybe that will change. He loves to take walks and do other normal dog things and loves his other IG friends.

Robbie would do best in a home with no small children, but with other small dogs, he does love other dogs, a dog door and a yard a must to keep Robbie successful in his potty habits.

Ivan: 8 years old, neutered, healthy, vaccines current, potty trained to go outside using a dog door. Ivan is a big boy; he is currently on a weight loss program. He loves to run and play, go for walks and take naps anywhere (not crate trained). Ivan will do well in a home with lots of exercise, other dogs to play with and someone willing to help him with his weight loss. Ivan really likes men, he seeks out his foster dad and brother. Ivan also is is fascinated (in a good way) with cats. He likes to watch his foster cats and likes them to come sit with him.

Sammy:  If cuddling and being adorable were an Olympic event, "Sammy" would win the gold. This five year-old boy loves all types of people. He enjoys playing with other dogs and is great with cats. Though Sammy is new to the golden state, he’s adopted the California lifestyle. He loves long walks, sunbathing, and chilling out with his peeps. Sammy is moderately active, but when the sun goes down, he likes to curl up with the ones he loves. When it’s bedtime, he goes to his crate, sleeps through the night and has to be awakened in the morning. As for his potty habits – Sammy gets a gold star! He has never had an accident or marked in the house.

Sammy is all about making his people happy. He looks endearingly into our eyes and hangs on our every word. He always comes when he’s called and will sit and lie down when asked to do so. When Sammy is happy, it’s no secret. His tail wag extends all the way up to his cute, little, wiggly butt. Sammy is currently crated for a five-hour period, Monday through Friday. He barked a bit on his first two work days in his foster home, but settled down quickly each time. By day three, he was with the routine and has had no trouble being home alone and crated at any time of the day. Even so, Sammy would especially enjoy living with someone who was retired, worked part-time or not at all. With his good manners, Sammy would also make a great take-to-work dog.

Sammy has had his dental and lost no teeth, however, he did have a couple of lumps removed. The lumps are hemangio sarcomas. Sammy will more than likely continue to get skin tumors. His new forever home will need to monitor his skin and have any new tumors removed. By doing so, Sammy should live a long and happy life.
