Sissy is a sweet two-and-a-half-year-old black and white girl with a terrific personality and a sense of humor! She gets along fabulously with cats and other IGs. She is petite, so a household with small non-aggressive pets is needed. Because of her spinning, she would be best in a home without small children. She is pretty active when playing in the yard with the other IGs in her foster home. Sissy has health issues that are not fixable, but can be managed. She has a condition called mega esophagus with low motility, and is a spinner. Both are due to what seems to be congenital neurological problems. Despite the spinning and the "megaE," Sissy lives a very good quality of life. She takes daily medications; one is a compound drug that a vet needs to prescribe to a compounding pharmacy, and she takes Nexium (or prilosec OTC can be substituted) once a day. There are special feeding directions with the compound drug meal (a.m.).
As a result of the megaE, Sissy must be held in an upright/sitting position for 15-20 minutes after eating, and for 2-3 minutes after drinking water so that gravity will help the food and water go down, and minimize the risk of getting aspiration pneumonia (AP). She does get AP occasionally, and will need to see a vet and get antibiotics when this occurs. She will come with a stethoscope that is used to listen to her lungs for any sign of breathing issues that need vetting.
Sissy is happy and as healthy as she can be with her ailment. She will take patience, time, stability, and frequent vetting. The family will need to have a very close relationship to their vet. Dogs with MegaE do not live as long as healthy dogs, but can live good quality lives for several years. Sissy is located in Indiana and will be adopted within the state or to surrounding states. PARKER is approx 5-6 yrs old blue and white male ig. parker is crate trained, leash trained and has the best ever potty habits. Parker will go to the door to let you know!! Parker is social, sweet, loving. he loves to ride and go for walks. loves everyone he meets. if you are looking for the perfect personality ig than parker is the one. Parker is just as cute as they come. Big eyes! if you are looking for that perfect little cuddle bug then Parker is your guy. MISSING, LAFAYETTE INDIANA AREA: Parker went missing Saturday
night/Sunday morning, 6/21-6/22. His Foster mom came home and her
house had been broken into. The door was left wide open and Parker was

PRESTON is two year old male blue and white IG. Preston is a very sweet loving and playful boy. He is a thin boy with very long legs. Preston loves to go for walks; he loves to run in a fenced yard. Preston is leash trained, crate trained and has good potty habits. Preston is looking for a forever home who has a fenced yard and another small dog to play with and snuggle with. Older kids are ok. Angelo is a beautiful red fawn male ig who is 5-6 yrs old. He came in
with his brother Enzo. It would be nice to place together but we will split
them. Angelo is crate trained, leash trained and does well with potty as
long as there is a fenced yard. Angelo loves kids. Angelo loves to play,
take walks and rides well in a car. If you have a fenced yard (no
exceptions) and are looking for a wonderful larger ig then Angelo is your
boy and if you want to then Enzo would love to have a forever home too.

Enzo is a beautiful blue and white ig who is 5-6 yrs old. He came in with his brother Angelo. Once again it would be nice to place together but we will split them. Enzo is very sweet but a little shy right at first. He does love to be loved. He would enjoy a home where he got a lot of attention. Enzo is crate trained; leash trained and does well with potty habits as long as he has a fenced so yard. He does ok with older kids, 7 yrs and up. He likes to ride in cars and go for long walks. If you have a fenced yard (no exceptions) and are looking for a larger boy then Enzo is your boy and of course Angelo wouldn't mind a forever home also. Enzo is located in

Vito is approx 2 yr old sable colored ig. Sable is a very unusual and beautiful color. Vito was one of the Wisconsin 57 IGs that were removed from terrible living conditions. Vito is a larger ig who absolutely loves everyone. He is social, sweet, loving. His potty is good, he is crate trained, doing well with leash training. He likes going visiting and loves riding in a car. Vito gets along with other dogs, cats and kids. Great dog for the terrible start he has had. Vito would love a fenced yard so he can run and play and another small dog to play with. Vito is located in

Biscotti is a
very sweet blue and white 4 yr old male. Biscotti, loves loves to be loved
on. He likes to be where you are and is a great companion. Biscotti is leash
trained , crate trained and does very well with his potty habits. Biscotto
is fearful of thunderstorms. Biscotti would love to have a fenced yard,
another small dog and a family who has time to pay attention to him and
would be very understanding of his fear of storms.
Biscotti would be ok

Preston #2 is a very small blue and white Iggy boy. He is about 8 months and weighs about 6 pounds. Preston is very very sweet. He loves to be held and loved on. Preston is crate trained, leash trained and doing well with potty habits. Preston also was one of the Wisconsin 57 removed from terrible conditions. Miss Priss is a
sweet 8 yr old female ig that is black and white and right now she is a
chubby girl. Miss Priss loves to snuggle and have attention lavished on her.
She is a bit shy with new people but will warm up quickly. Priss walks well
on a leash, crates well and has good potty habits. She is presently losing
weight and will soon be that shapely Iggy figure. Her optimal weight will be
about 12-14 pounds. Priss would love a family who would spoil her with
attention (not food) and take her on long walks. Priss loves a fenced yard
but its not a necessity. Priss would love to have another small dog/cat for
company when her family is not home. Older kids would be fine. Priss doesn't
mind going places and riding in a car.

Bea is approx 10 yrs old red fawn beauty. Bea is also another Iggy kid saved from the terrible conditions the Wisconsin 57 came from. Bea is the sweetest, we mean sweetest girl. She has a face that makes you fall in love and a personality that is so sweet and loving. She lives to be loved. Bea is a little barrel shaped from all the pups she has had and her eyesight is not very good but she can see well enough to follow her foster mom around the yard and she gets around well in the house. Key is not to move stuff around a lot. Bea's potty habits are very good, she crates well, leash walks. Bea has a cute little habit where on occasion she sings like a hound dog. Bea would do well with a fenced yard, another little animal companion and someone who wants to lavish the love on her that she so deserves. Bea would more than return the love you give. Louie is a beautiful 1 yr old blue male who is a larger ig. Louie is normal energy for a pup but he is also well mannered. Louie has surprised his foster mom with great potty habits, great crate training and great leash walking. Louie plays with other dogs well and can also play with toys. He loves to run and jump , roll and wiggle. He also loves a lap to lie on and love lavished on him. Foster mom says he is the sweetest and easiest foster she has had. He is smart, willing to learn and eager to please. Louie is looking for a home with a fenced yard so he can race around and maybe another playmate he can have fun with and hangout with. Bailey is a
gorgeous 3 yr old fawn male ig who is on the larger size at 19 muscular
pounds. Bailey is a love bug. He is a gentle soul who just loves to have
attention. He loves a lap to snuggle on. Bailey likes to play also, he loves
playing chase with the foster moms ig in the yard. Lying in the sun is
another past time and chewing on chewies also. Bailey's potty habits are
good and he crates well. He pulls on a leash but foster mom is working on
that. Bailey really enjoys life and loves being part of a family.

Luigi is a handsome blue and white Iggy male who is definitely 8 yrs young!! IGs can live upwards to 20 yrs so at 8 yrs Luigi is still very young. Luigi is a very well rounded boy. He has the best of everything. He is sweet and loving, gives kisses but yet very playful still without being wildly energetic. Luigi loves to cuddle with his humans but he also likes the companionship of another small dog. Luigi does well with his potty habits and even will scratch on the door to go out. Not common with the ig breed. Luigi crates well, leash walks well and rides well in a car. He also likes to snuggle under the covers at night with his humans. Luigi does have to take a pill twice a day for a common health condition in the ig breed called hypothyroidism. Easily treated by a pill twice a day hidden in peanut butter or cheese and is very inexpensive. For example at my vets I purchase 250 pills for 23.00. That’s a little over 7.00 a month - very inexpensive. Luigi is located in state of Indiana and will be adopted in state of or bordering states.
