just a small sample of the many IG's in our local foster homes

Sparkle is a 7-year-old pied female weighing around 13 pounds. She is spayed and up-to-date on all vaccines. Sparkle loves people and kids, and her favorite hobby is laying in the grass, soaking up the sun. She is crate trained and leash trained and hardly ever has accidents in the house, as long as you listen to her when she tells you she needs to go out. She is great with other dogs her size, but can be intimidated by larger dogs. Her foster mom says she has a great, quirky personality and is not boring! At 7 years old, she still has a lot of years ahead of her and needs a forever family who will love her unconditionally!

Honey is an 8-year-old fawn female who weighs 11 pounds. She is spayed and up-to-date on all vaccines. Honey came to us with a severe dental infection and lost most of her teeth. Honey is working on crate training and leash training, and is potty pad trained. She gets along well with other dogs her size, but hasn’t been around cats. Her favorite place is cuddled up on your lap – she is a real snuggle bug! She is a bit of a shy girl, so she is looking for a quiet household with no small children. If possible, we'd like Honey and O.B. to stay together - since they're so very attached to one another.

Henry is an 11 month old male seal and white IG. He is neutered and
up-to-date on all of his vaccines. Henry currently weighs 10 pounds but is
not yet full grown. He gets along well with other dogs and is curious around
cats but will chase them if given the opportunity. He is still working on
his house training so will need someone understanding and patient in this
area as well as someone who can either be home with him during the day, come
home to walk him during work breaks or is willing to hire a trustworthy dog
walker. He is okay with children but, due to a previous leg fracture and the
extra fragile nature of his legs as he continues to grow, will not be
adopted to anyone with young children. A fenced IG proof yard would be best
as this little guy is still a puppy and needs to be able to run safely to
help him build stronger bones. He would also do best in a home with another
dog his size to romp and play with.

Molly & Maggie are 1 yr old fawn females weighing in at around 15 lbs
each. These sisters (from the same litter) are spayed and up-to-date on
vaccines. They're very sweet, well adjusted girls and have lived their whole
lives together as best friends. Maggie is outgoing and adventurous. Molly is
a bit timid and follows Maggie's lead. They're both doing great with
housetraining, leash training, and crate training. They're dog, cat, and kid
friendly as well. Mollie and Maggie are cute as can be and a pleasure to
watch playing together. If possible, we'd like these two to stay together-
since they're so very attached to one another. These two pups would like a
family who has lots of time to play with them.

Wilbur: Update from Wilbur’s Foster Mom: Wilbur was found wandering the
parking lot of a vet’s office, without tags or anyone to claim him. We can
not believe someone would dump such a kind old soul so late in life, when he
should be living out his days in comfort. He has had to adapt to a lot of
changes in his life and takes a little while to bond, but once he does, he
is sure to make you smile every day. Wilbur is a very easy dog and
doesn’t want to cause any trouble. He is easy to please, a nice back scratch
and a soft meal will win his heart. “Little Wilb,” as he is affectionately
called, sleeps a lot and loves to snuggle with you under warm blanket or
watch TV by your side. His heart is full of kindness. As a submissive dog,
Wilbur avoids conflict with both dogs and people. He gets along with
everyone and seems to tug at the heart-strings of every one he meets.
Sometimes, when he is feeling his “spunk,” he gets all excited about playing
fetch with his favorite toy, the mini-tennis ball. You can sometimes see the
wheels turning in his head when he seems to give himself a pep-talk before
jumping up on a chair or sofa. He may have an old body, but he is healthy
and his mind is sharp. This senior citizen deserves a truly special home,
where he can live out the rest of his days with love and comfort.
