Bella is a beautiful 5 year old blue and white female.  She has such big warm brown eyes, you can't help but fall in love with her!  She’s a large IG, weighing in at 18.5 lbs. Bella was a mill dog kept in a cage for the first four years of her life without human interaction.  It is taking time to get her adjusted to domesticated life, but she's come a long, long way and we're so proud of her for all the strides she's made!  She is shy but incredibly sweet and mild-mannered, and she loves gentle affection from her humans.  She's quite a cuddler and loves sitting next to her humans on the couch so she can be showered with love and attention.  She also loves hugs and belly rubs.  When meeting new people she can be skittish, but she warms up quickly and is quite curious about new people.  She likes to sniff them, study them from afar, and in no time is sitting pretty for pets and affection.  She interacts well with the other IGs in her foster home and loves to play with them non-stop, but we think she would do well as an only dog, too.  In the last couple of months Bella has discovered the joy of doggie treats and chewies, and she loves "destuffing" her plush toys, too.  Bella crates beautifully and enjoys quiet time in her crate with the door open so she can come and go as she pleases when her humans are home.  She travels incredibly well and is continuing to improve on her leash walking.  Ideally she would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard or in a home with the willingness to dedicate the time to continue improving her leash skills. Bella’s foster parents are continuing to work with her on potty habits, but she has come a long way in this area.  She paces and circles to let you know she has to go out. With supervision, diligence, and consistency she does pretty well pottying outside.  Bella would do best in a low-energy, quiet home since she still frightens easily and gets stressed by over stimulation and really loud noises.  She does very well with older children (10 and up) who are very gentle with her.

Bellacino is a 6 year old handsome blue and white boy, that goes by the shorter Chino.  He is the tall lanky sort of IG.  His moderate energy level would be a great fit for most homes, and he is tolerant of more active dogs and boisterous children.  He enjoys the company of the other IGs in his foster home, but he would do just fine as an only dog too.  He is a great balance of both the independent explorer and obligate snuggler.  He crates wonderfully, and is working on his potty habits outside of the crate.  His foster home reports he is working on his socialization with bigger dogs, and is doing well. They are also working on leash training, where he does pull some.  He already knows the 'sit' and 'down' commands.  What a dreamy little guy!  Let us know if you think Chino might be a good fit for you.

Sundown is an adorable 6 year old male. His foster mom says he is one of the best fosters she has ever had. His former owners and his foster home both have doggy doors and his potty habits are 100% reliable with access to the yard. A new home with a doggy door would be ideal, however we feel he would adjust quickly to any new potty schedule. He is a cuddler, playful, and just the sweetest little guy. He is considered special needs only because he is on seizure medication. When he gets it twice a day, his seizures are controlled very well and the medicine is very inexpensive. We would be happy to discuss this further with any potential new homes!
Sundown gets a little overwhelmed by small children, but older kids are just fine. He does great with other dogs his size and would love to have a companion to chase around a fenced yard.
