Ginger is a 13 year old girl who has had a great  life with an elderly lady- until she passed away and her family was not able to properly care for her.  Ginger has a very easy going personality and loves to be with her owners.  She is definitely a lap dog, but very unassuming.  Ginger is not crate trained, but is getting very attached to a crate I have; she loves to settle in there with her blankie and watch the world go by.  She is 100% potty trained and will even wake me up if she happens to need to go at night - a very rare thing!  She has lots of energy when she goes outside and loves to explore her back yard.

Ginger has no teeth, but that doesn't seem to keep her from enjoying regular kibble and treats. Sometimes her tongue hangs out on the side, but we have grown to find that endearing because she is so adorable in general.

Ginger loves my girls, who are trying to convince me to keep her- something I would do in a snap if I didn't already have three IG's of my own. She is getting used to having other Italian Greyhounds around and has been joining the pack beautifully. In the beginning she kept to herself, now she is in the action all the time.   Ginger never lived in a house with stairs, so she is shy of the stairway to the second floor. She handles 3-4 stairs to the back yard just fine. She is very sweet and will make a great companion.

Tony was originally purchased for a child, who then grew up and left home, and her mother did not want him. He was rescued before he got placed into a shelter. Tony is an 8 year old neutered male who came in seriously overweight, but now is approaching normal for his large frame. He keeps his crate very clean, and announces when it's time to go out by barking. He is outgoing, affectionate, and fearless.

Tony is looking for a wise and kind pack leader to welcome him into their home. Although his medical history is unknown, he did have one seizure after about two months in foster care.  For more information please contact Serena at srcarlyle@yahoo.com.

UPDATE: Tony has undergone quite a transformation in his loving foster home over the past few months! His diet has been a success. Tony is now a healthy 18 lbs and hasn't had any more seizures. As the pounds have disappeared, his charming personality has emerged. Tony is an outgoing boy who loves to play. He is affectionate, yet independent. He is not skittish or wimpy, and would make a great companion for someone with an active lifestyle. Tony is very excited to find his forever home!
