Hi batchmates,
We're still recovering from the fatigue. And starting tonight, work na uli kami ni Arnel Manicio for the ticket inventory. While the rest of the committee will also start doing their reports.
Friday, 3 Sept 2004, 6:00 am - Ayie and I attended the Thanksgiving Mass for our Batch.Others can't make it because they were assigned to other areas.Actually I was his personal assistant (PA) for 3 days, on leave ako sa office.
We also have an occular inspection of the covered court and Al Saporsantos was there to supervise the fence. Actually midnight of Sept 2 nandon na siya for the delivery of the materials. We checked the area.
8:00 am - The preparation of the stage started.
9:00 am - chairs preparation, all of them were exhausted mainit pagod na talaga.
1:00 pm the sound system were being prepared.
4:00 pm the sound, lights and wide screen were prepared
5:00 pm some of our batch arrives while those who helped in the preparation went home para mag refresh.Pero obviously tired na talaga.
6:00 pm audience starts to arrives
7:00 pm South Border arrives, and went to Cafe Marcelo for dinner. They came from a show at SM Bicutan.Rest muna sila.
8:30 pm we started our program. It was suppose to be at 8:00 but we also waited for Gov. Maliksi, Mayor Saquilayan, and Strike Revilla, in behalf of Sen Bong Revilla. They were included in the program kaya lang no appearance.Strike arrived late, concert na.
Jonathan and I were the emcee for the program kahit na exhausted and hindi prepared, para sa batch okei lang. Our Diva, Jonathans' number was a hit.Even Jay of South Border commented that he/she (whichever) has a very powerful voice.
Finally at about 9:30 the concert begun...
Everybody was shouting and dancing. They really appreciated the concert so much.It was almost two hours non stop singing and dancing.Everybody really went home with smile on their faces specially the youth who even stayed after the concert to have pictures with South Border.Kami din feeling 18 pa.We also danced and sing with them.
After the concert the batch helped one another in arranging the chairs and clearing the stage. Then we proceed to Pres Ayies' place.
Other committees started working once more for the sales and inventory of the ticket. The reports will be finalize the soonest and will be reported by Elsa.
We went home at about 2:30 that includes eating, drinking and chika. Thanks to my special friend Dick Perico for the 3 cases of SMB.May pledge pa from Gov 3 cases and Jojo Evaristo 3 cases.Waitng for the final meeting and SMB nyo.
We may not reach the expected sales but we achieved more than what we have expected. The satisfaction of those who attended the concert is a mere fact that they appreciated it so much. The presence of other Batchmates we haven't seen for awhile who attended is also a big factor that we are one.The time and effort of those who helped in anyway they can proves that we are one.
To all batchmates thank you.We have bad times but in the end we're still together. It's the spice of life anyway.Pagod, puyat, asaran , tawanan, iyakan at kung anu-anong drama ng buhay ang naranasan.
Sa mga susunod na project let's give our full support, isa lang ang II Batch '83.
Thanks and God Bless!!!
