Janey arrived in Escondido on June 20, 2002. An airplane ticket collection was taken so that she could fly out in the cabin from New York. She is a feral cat but can be touched when she is in her safe locations. There was a possibility of her being euthanized because of her shyness so coming to Escondido guaranteed her a safe home. Her illness came on fairly suddenly. She started losing weight and losing a lot of muscle. Her blood work was pretty good but an xray showed a mass in her lung. It was a really hard decision to make but for her it was the best one. We love and miss you Janey.
Zachary was adopted from National Cat Protection Society in November 2002 at the age of ten. His human family bottle fed him as a baby and then left him when they moved.
