In Memory Of
Boo was adopted from Pet Pride in 1992 at the age of 9 months. He is very shy but loves to be combed and petted. All the other cats loved Boo. In July of 2000 he was diagnosed with kidney failure. On 8/10/02 Boo lost his fight with kidney disease and went over
The Rainbow Bridge.
We really miss him. He was a very special Cat.
A word of advice, if blood work comes back very good but the cat isn't acting himself, have the work repeated. It's better to be safe than sorry.
Noel was put between the doors at Pet Pride in September 1997. As it turned out, she was pregnant at six months. She had two babies but one died. Noel and the baby couldn't stay at the shelter so they needed a foster home. I worked at Pet Pride so I volunteered to foster them. Well, as you can see, they never went back to the shelter. Noel can be very affectionate but she also has an aggressive streak. Noel went over
on September 21, 2005. She had been in kidney failure just short of two years. Noel was our greeter, get under your feet cat. She is greatly missed.
The Rainbow Bridge
Janey arrived in Escondido on June 20, 2002. An airplane ticket collection was taken so that she could fly out in the cabin from New York. She is a feral cat but can be touched when she is in her safe locations. There was a possibility of her being euthanized because of her shyness so coming to Escondido guaranteed her a safe home. It is with a heavy heart that I must tell you that Janey went to
The Rainbow Bridge.
Her illness came on fairly suddenly. She started losing weight and losing a lot of muscle. Her blood work was pretty good but an xray showed a mass in her lung. It was a really hard decision to make but for her it was the best one. We love and miss you Janey.
Zachary was adopted from National Cat Protection Society in November 2002 at the age of ten. His human family bottle fed him as a baby and then left him when they moved. He lived outside for about five years until his caretake moved and then he came to Nat Cat. In addition to the cancer on his nose, he had inflammatory bowel disease and pancreatitis. He died peacefully in my arms with Bob at my side on July 8, 2006 at which time he went to
The Rainbow Bridge.
We love you and miss you.
