Categories/Classes

The following list indicates the competition classes, in which all members may compete. The five classes for Digital images are: Assigned, Contemporary, Nature, Open, and Photo Journalism. The three classes for Prints are: Assigned, Nature, and Open.

The first class is called the Assigned Subjects. The Assigned Subjects are voted on by the membership.  Each member suggests a particular subject they would like to shoot, then the membership will keep voting until the final top eight subjects (8 months ) are chosen. The  eight subjects must be taken after the selection of the subject list!

The  competition categories are the different medium our members may use to capture their photographic moments! The following tables show the competition categories and the maximum number of entries a photographer may submit for each category type and for each class.
