Birthday/ Easter

Daniel turned 3 this year! We went from the terrible two’s to the traumatizing three’s. Most days he’s a happy go-lucky little boy. However, he does have his days. This year for his birthday, he got the play hut he’s shown in here, a new pool (since the one from last year got a hole we couldn’t find) a train birthday cake and a bunch of balloons! He had a lot of fun that day as he spent it at MeeMoo and BeeBoo’s house chasing Trixie around the backyard! I’ve put the pictures from Easter here as well since there were only a couple good ones and it happens so close to his birthday. Hope you enjoy!

On the right, the Easter Bunny has just left our house. He was really good to Daniel hiding plastic eggs filled with chocolates and leaving a train basket that was filled with candy and a Mega Blocks train set. In the middle, Daniel is opening the plastic egg to get to the chocolate. On the right, Daniel is checking out what the Easter Bunny brought to MeeMoo’s house.

Here’s a picture of Daniel’s cake in two stages. I am really proud of this cake as it was my first try at cake decorating and from someone who generally can’t draw, I drew the train and clouds on the cake. Matt then filled it in the train with colored icing. Not bad for a first try, huh? Daniel REALLY liked his cake because it had a train on it.
