How does your website navigation work?
Navigation is broken up into three basic categories: “Website,” “Content,” and “Contact.” All of these headers are links and all of the bulleted materials listed under them are links. This website’s index, or homepage, can be returned to by clicking the “Website” link. The index is the only place all main subcategories are listed under “Website,” “Content,” and “Contact” all at once. On any other page, the menus are collapsed so only the category you are in has submenus displayed. So if you’re clicking on “E-mail” under “Contact” on the index, once you get there, the “E-mail” page will only display the subcategories of “Contact” and nothing else. Subcategories are bulleted and indented under the main heading they correspond to.
The “Website” category contains information that pertains to the website or its creator. It also includes things like gifts or awards this website may have received or given. Links to external sites are also under this section, so if you’re sick of being here, visit the links page.
“Content” contains artwork, writing, and opinions and is probably the main area you’ve come to visit on this site. “Content” is the most updated section and the most likely to change depending on my interests. Subcategories like “Writing” and “Art” have original creations and subcategories like “Final Fantasy VII” has primarily theories and opinions. Some subcategories might overlap, such as “Fanart,” which is a subcategory of both “Art” and “Final Fantasy VII.”
“Contact” gives you the information you need to contact me about the website. There are several options you can use to contact me or to leave your feedback. Please check out the main “Contact” page or other questions on this page for more information.
When was your website created, you give two dates?
I give two dates because I conceived of the idea for the original “Dark Corner” on June 30, 2002, but the website was not completed until July 13, 2002. I find the metaphor of the website, a being of sorts, being conceived but not being a full being until it is born mildly humorous. I also think some ideas are worth giving more weight, especially since ideas can outlive the creator. I don’t have such grad goals for this place, but this website does let ideas spread farther than they normally would travel because of the nature of the internet.
Can I use your art or writing on my website?
To use any original content of mine, or of any author/artist I may host for, you must send me (or the author/artist) an e-mail asking to use the content. When you do this, you need to give a link to the site you plan on hosting the content on. If the author/artist agrees to let you host their works, you must specify that they are the author of the work and provide a link back to their website or e-mail address on the page you host the work. If you use any of my (Immortalmint’s) works, you must put a link next to the work and include a link back to my site: http://members.cox.net/immortalmint/ on your links page.
Can you host some of my art or writing on your website?
At this time I am only hosting works of close friends on my website because of limited space. I will most likely refuse your request because there are other places you can host your art and writing online. www.fanfiction.net hosts writing and www.deviantart.com hosts art. There are also plenty of other sites that you can set up an account with if you don’t like to two listed above.
What’s the best way to contact you?
For general feedback on the website, you can sign the guestbook with your comments. For more specific feedback on the website or if you want to report a problem you’ve found with the site such as a broken link, you can e-mail me at immortalmint@hotmail.com If you want to discuss some of the opinions and theories my site has in “Content,” you can use the message board to discuss these things with me and other visitors. If you just want to talk to me and do not wish what you say to be displayed anywhere on this website, you should just e-mail me. I recommend checking out my e-mail page to make sure your e-mail is send in a format that I will read and not mistake for spam mail.
What should I do if there is a broken link?
Please e-mail me at immortalmint@hotmail.com and make sure the subject of your e-mail contains “Broken Link.” I am very grateful to anyone who points out a broken link. It insures my website stays accurate and more useful for all.

Then send me an e-mail at immortalmint@hotmail.com with “Dark Corner: unanswered question” in the subject. This way I will not mistake your e-mail for spam. Having a subject of just “Question” will probably get your e-mail deleted because I have received spam mail that uses that heading.
