Braces

I decided to give the Engine Bay a different look, so I started with the Strut Tower brace and Diagonal Braces.  Makes things stand out more in the compartment.

Remove 4 nuts (2 on each side) with an 13mm wrench,
and grasp the brace with 2 arms and pull upward.

When installing or removing the brace, make note of the FRT,
lettering and Arrow.  The arrow should be pointing towards
the headlights of the Vehicle.

I first used 400 sandpaper to sand down the black paint on the
braces, then I put 2 coats of primer and sanded with 600.  Then pick
your color and put 2 or 3 coats of it and let dry about an hour.
Lastly put 2 coats of Engine Enamel and let dry over night.

Right diagonal brace being painted.

Shorter indicated screws screw into the bottom on the
brace.

Longer Indicated screw, screws into the top part
of the brace.  Follow the same procedures for the
opposite side.

The 1st part of the project is finally finished.

I still need to paint the 2 motor mounts  and paint the screws
bright yellow.
