The view from the top of one of the really big hills!

Me in the Nebraska National Forest

The most beautiful place in Nebraska, informally called Nebraska’s Grand Canyon..  (near Arnold, Nebraska)

The strange plant life in this barren place.

Another photo of the Grand Canyon, also known as Devil’s Den.

The rigged toilet on the first day’s ride, which was 75 miles with only one “real” bathroom.  Notice the cement blocks & lovely décor.  I was more happy to see this than the food at this stop!

Deep in the heart of the forest.

The road seemed to go on forever………………….

The BRAN camp in Valentine, NE.

Scenes from day 4. This was about a mile past where the coyote was on the side of the road.

Another fun hill to climb!

You can barely see the riders towards the top of this monster!

I’m back home from BRAN 2003 and am pleased to say that I made my goal of riding up each hill and every single mile.  I will be posting more photos and my daily journals of the trip as time permits. Check back here soon to read the complete story, and thanks for your prayers and support as I undertook this endeavor.
