Program statistics from our recorded attendance sheets are the following:
ATTENDANCE/MEMBERSHIP
Total attendance for all in-house events for which records are available was 7,523.
There were 202 memberships (individual - 181 and family - 81).
There were 772 English as a Second Language students registered for classes.
There were 28 ESL tutors tutoring a total of 286 students.
French classes included 10 students enrolled
Spanish classes included 7 students enrolled.

USE OF BUILDING
As an adjunct to your classes and programs, International House allows the use of the building to provide extended services to the Providence community as part of our outreach. The Taiwanese Student Association and Korean Student Organization from Brown University held their New Year’s Dinners this year. We rented the classroom in the basement for several weeks for a Fashion Design Workshop for young students.

VOLUNTEERS
74 volunteers recorded their hours of service this year for a total of 3,120.5 hours representing an average of 60 hours per week. Volunteers include community leaders, college students, retired teachers, college professors, professional men and women, senior citizens, and international students and visitors. In June, 40 volunteers and their spouses were treated to our annual Volunteer Appreciation Party.
