On 1910 Gorden married Annie Grimshaw, daughter of Jonathan Grimshaw and Margaret Martha Willis.1 Gorden was enumerated in the 14 April 1930 U. S. Census taken at Egg Harbor Road, Blue Anchor, New Jersey as head of a household consisting of his wife Anna, sons Francis and Thomas and his mother-in-law, Martha Grimshaw. He was 41 years old and working as a poultry farmer. He was born in England but his parents were born in Ireland. His date of immigration is listed as 1910 and he was naturalized. They owned their home but the value was not listed. The family had a radio. His age at his first marriage was 22..1

He was 29 years old and listed as a railroad signalman.1 At age 29 John arrived at Ellis Island on 8 Sep 1911 aboard the Carmania which left Liverpool, England on 29 Aug 1911. According to the ship manifest he paid for his ticket himself and had $30.00 in cash as traveling money. He was described as5' 5 1/2" tall, having a fresh complexion, dark hair and dark eyes. His occupation was listed as a fitter. His final destination in the U.S. was his brother Gordon's home at 2910 Rose Hill Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mary A. Garvey, Mark's wife, was listed as his contact in England. She was living at 11 Lower Autley Street, Accrington, Lancashire.2

Stanley Dokmanus was born in 1886.1 Stanley Left from Bremen, Germany on 9 Mar 1912 and arrived aboard the [LD1] at the Port of New York, [LD2] on 18 March 1912.2 He was also known as Stanko Dokmanac Listed on Passenger Manifest.2 Stanley married Mary Draginya.1 The census of Milwaukee, Wisconsin taken on 14 January 1920 enumerates Stanley as the head of a household consisting of his wife, Mary, their son, Emil and daughter, Sophie. Stanley stated that his parents and himself were born in Slovenia and he was age 24. He immigrated in 1913 but was not naturalized nor had he filed papers to become a citizen. He was unable to write or read. It is unclear if this was only true of the English language or if he was illiterate in his mothertongue as well. He was employed as a machinist for a paper factory. The family was renting their home.1 Stanley was listed in this census as Stanford Dokmanatz.1 Stanley Dokmanus died at Illinois. He was buried in St. Sava Monastery Cemetery, Libertyville, Illinois.

Mary Draginya was born in 1886. Mary married Stanley Dokmanus.1 The census of Milwaukee, Wisconsin taken on 14 January 1920 enumerates Mary as the wife of Stanley Dokmanus. She immigrated to the United States from Slovenia in 1912. She was 24 years of age. She did not read or write. It may have been that this was only in English she was illiterate but the census does not record this.1

Marion Alice Miller was born on 3 May 1922. She was the daughter of (?) Miller and (?) Sjoval. On 1 June 1963 Marion married Millard E. Dokmanus Sr., son of Stanley Dokmanus and Mary Draginya, at Orange County, California .1 Marion Alice Miller died on 6 August 1981 at age 59.
