Elizabeth Corcoran was born on 20 January 1879 at the family home, Fairymount, French Park, County Roscommon, Ireland. She was the daughter of Patrick Corcoran and Catherine Duignan. Elizabeth Corcoran was baptized on 30 January 1879 at Fairymount, Frenchpark, by Rev. Christopher O'Connor. Her godparents were James Corcoran and Bridget Corcoran. As a young adult, she entered the community of the Sisters of Mercy in Sligo City, Ireland. Her sister, Ellen, also entered the Order. Elizabeth either developed epilepsy after entering the convent or she suffered the affliction beforehand. Whichever was the case, she was asked to leave the convent because of the disease and Ellen was asked to leave with her. The two girls went to America and lived with their brother in Chicago, Illinois. After her sister Ellen established the Servite Convent in Ladysmith, Wisconsin, Elizabeth sought admission and was accepted by the sisters. Before her first year was over, however, she was asked to leave because her epilepsy was too difficult to control. Had she been allowed to remain in the Order her name would have been Sister Mary Juliana. After leaving Ladysmith, Elizabeth, went to Rochester, New York and spent the remainder of her life as a cook and housekeeper for the Sisters of St. Joseph where her sisters, Jane and Hanna were part of the community. Her later years were spent at St. Ann's Home run by the sisters. Elizabeth Corcoran died on 2 August 1955 at Rochester, New York, at age 76. She was buried in August 1955 at Rochester, New York.

Jane Corcoran was also known as Jennie. She was born on 10 January 1879 at the home of her parents, Fairymount, County Roscommon, Ireland. She was the daughter of Patrick Corcoran and Catherine Duignan. In 1902 Jane entered Nazareth Convent of the Sisters of St. Joseph at 4095 East Ave., Rochester, New York. Jennie immigrated to the U.S. in 1902.1 In 1903 Jane Corcoran took the habit of the community and was given the religious name of Sister Mary Beata S.S.J. She was a teacher in New York for 34 years and Principal in Waterloo, New York from 1940 - 1946. She also taught in Rochester, Elmira, Mount Morris and several other locations until her health forced her into retirement. She spent her remaining years at the Motherhouse in Rochester. . The census of 298 Erie Avenue, Corning, Steuben Co., New York taken on 14 January 1920 enumerates Sister Mary Beata as a member of St. Joseph's Convent. She gave her age as 35 and her occupation, a techer in a Parocial School.2 She was naturalized on 1 April 1924 at Monroe County Courthouse, Monroe Co., New York.3 Jane Corcoran died on 13 September 1960 at Rochester, New York, at age 81. She was buried at Rochester, New York.

Hanna Corcoran was born at Fairymount, County Roscommon, Ireland. She was the daughter of Patrick Corcoran and Catherine Duignan. In 1902 Hanna entered Nazareth Convent of the Sisters of St. Joseph. At 4095 East St., Rochester, New York. In 1903 Hanna Corcoran took the habit of the community and was given the religious name of Sister Mary Cyprian S.S.J. 1907 she made her first vows. Her perpetual vows were made in 1911. During her teaching career, Sister Mary Cyprian, taught in the State of New York. She was assigned to schools in Senneca Falls, Auburn, Dansville, Rochester, Mount Morris and several other locations around the State. Poor health forced her to return to the motherhouse in Rochester in 1939. Her later years were spent at Immaculate Heart of Mary Convent. . The census of 33 Murry Street, Mount Morris Village, Livingston Co., New York taken on February 1920 enumerates Sister Cyprian as a member of the convent. She gave her age as 35 and place of birth, Ireland. Her occupation is listed as a teacher in a Parochial School.1 She resided in February 1920 at 33 Murry St., Mount Morris Village, Livingston Co., New York.2 She was naturalized on 1 July 1924 at Monroe County Courthouse, Monroe Co., New York. Hanna Corcoran died on 11 December 1956 at Rochester, New York. She was buried in December 1956 at Rochester, New York.
