The all-carbon frame/fork has a headtube molded
polished "O" badge with built-in integrated cable stops. The cockpit has Cinelli RAM2 1-piece carbon bar/stem
custom black/white paint, wrapped
with Cinelli Gel tape (black on the left, white on the right). Each side
has identical 13 wraps overlapped at 1/2 tape intervals and stretched to
a secret torque setting so Cinelli logos show up on the tops of the
drops (rider's perspective) and on the fronts of the drops (front
perspective). Campy Record Ultra10 ErgoLevers have brake/derailleur
cables housed/protected in black Nokon surgical grade stainless steel
housing. This time consuming part of the build requires meticulous
bead-counting for exact length and extensive cable-fishing through the
internal cable routing system of the Cinelli RAM2. As you can see from
the pics (check the underside of the bar), the finished product is the
cleanest cable routing of any bar out there, bar none (pun intended).
The drivetrain is Campy Record Ultra gruppo, carbon/ti
front and rear derailleurs, 53t carbon crank (not the small compact stuff),
Mavic Cosmic Carbone, Vredestein tires with white sidewalls. The brakeset is
Zero Gravity with yellow Kool Stop pads. Zero Gravity calipers are one heck
of a great looking CNC-machined piece of art. Pedals are Speedplay Zeros.
Rounding off the parts list is a white Selle
Italia SLR carbonio, Campy Record seatpost secured by a custom polished
seatclamp molded to specifically extend the Orca's top-tube shape past
the seattube. This is the whale-fin of the bike, though no one can
confirm if this has any aero effect. It does look very sleek and gives
the frame a continuous flow.
