Giving this bike a name was easy. The bike is
painted School Bus Yellow. So, the name I
have chosen for him is
SCHOOBY
.
The decal-free and logo-free aluminum frame uses
bonded aluminum technology (not welded) with internal brake cable
routing. The Alpha-Q carbon fork is mounted via a Chris King headset. The cockpit is comprised of Cinelli RAM 1-piece carbon bar/stem
custom striped to match the frame, mounted with Campy Record brakeset
(optimized - shifter mechanism completely removed) and wrapped halfway
with Deda bartape in matching color.
The drivetrain consists of Campy Record custom
polished crank, 52t chainring, White Industries ENO Eccentric hub in the
rear, White Industries H2 hub up front, Velocity Ti Aerohead rims, Campy
Record front skewer, and Continental Gran Prix 3000 tires. A temporary
ACS 18t cog/freewheel will soon be replaced by a top-of-the-line White
Industries cog/freewheel (waiting for order to arrive).
Rounding off the parts list is a Miche Supertype
polished seatpost with CNC cut-outs, Campy Record brake calipers, and
Selle Italia SLR saddle (optimized - stripped of cover and cushion).
