INT. SAME CABIN- A YEAR EARLIER
Spade is arguing with a gorgeous girl, Cindy Jenkins. He grabs her and kisses
her deeply. She enjoys it for a moment, but then pulls away angrily. She opens
the door for him.
CINDY
I think you should leave.
(Spade crosses his arms over his chest in defiance.)
CINDY (CONT'D)
Now!
SPADE
Look, Cindy, its not what you think.
CINDY
Oh, you mean you're not a total fag?!
SPADE
Watch your mouth bitch! You saw nothing. We're going to stay and have a good
time.
CINDY
Now that all your friends decided to end the vacation early, you mean? I don't
think so Spade. I can't believe I'm dating a closet homo.
(Spade grabs her hard and pushes her against the door.)
SPADE
Don't tell me you believed that shit? I just was messing around with the guy.
You know, teasing him, 'cause he's such a flamboyant fag. It was all a joke.
CINDY
I saw what I saw and you can't convince me otherwise. This might be embarrassing
to me, but its nothing compared to what it'll be for you, Mr. Super Jock.
SPADE
Cindy, I swear. If you even hint that I'm gay, I'll kill you.
(Cindy begins to cry.)
CINDY
You bastard! I can't believe this. I can't believe I allowed you to... oh, oh.
SPADE
You won't say anything, right?
(Cindy turns to leave without answering and Spade becomes hysterical. He lunges
after her and grabs her neck, pulling her back. Cindy is scared now.)
CINDY
I didn't mean it. I won't say anything, I promise. Please don't hurt me.
(Spade turns to face her and then tears her arms off him as she clings to
him. He throws her to the ground.)
SPADE
Too late, you unfaithful whore! I don't trust you.
Spade slowly approaches her with malice in his eyes. She remains petrified on
the ground as he approaches.
