This is Tatman's car, his comments follow:

Exceptional car, one of the best mid-sized sedans in the world. The Big Three in my opinion are: Audi, BMW, Mercedes.
My Audi has superb handling, excellent acceleration especially with the Triptronic transmission, nice exterior design. The sport package makes the car very fun to drive, especially in sharp turns. Before I bought my Audi I tested the Mercedes S430, Jaguar S-Type, BMW 540, Volvo C70 and Audi A8. The Audi A6 2.7 Biturbo and the BMW 540 appealed to me the most. I chose the A6 because it is a more exotic car for the California roads, but first of all I got the best deal on it with the exceptional sports package.
The only thing on the down side I would like to mention is the fact that the engagement of the Turbo compressors show a lag of about 1-2 seconds after pressing the accelerator. Still, the acceleration time of 6.6s is impressive. I can't wait for the RS6 to come to the US in 2003-4.
