Comments by owner:

Ricardo owns a 1997 Punto in Spain. Here are his comments:

Despite it's apparent low power, the "Fire" engine makes the Fiat Punto go pretty fast. Maximum speed is approximately 180 km/h, not bad for a 1.1L engine :)
In 1997, European compact cars weren't as equipped as they are now; that is the reason why the Punto doesn't have things like air conditioning or centralized power door locks. In any case, it does look pretty cool from outside!
It is pretty stable due to its sport suspension, but it isn't too comfortable on bouncy roads. I've installed a 40x4 Pioneer radiocassete with 4 speakers, 90W x2 on front and 160W x2 on the back.

This is the second Fiat I have; the first one was an Uno 45 S, 1989 and could in no way compare to the Punto, but it on the other hand, it only cost me around $500.
