Subject: Letter of Recommendation for Ms. Judy Morgon
Judy Morgon worked under my supervision for approximately one year, from May 2000 through April 2001. Judy’s responsibility was to develop, staff, and manage Spider’s Technical Publications department – starting from scratch. In addition, she was responsible for the development and implementation of Technical Publications processes, Standard Style Guides, and Technical Publications content and structure. During this time I worked closely with Judy, where she consistently demonstrated her in-depth knowledge of all aspects of Technical Publications. I was quite impressed by the quality and breadth of Judy’s work. She and her staff created and delivered timely and accurate documentation of Spider’s products. As an individual contributor, Judy developed high quality content that was always delivered on time. As a manager, Judy possesses a unique set of skills and attributes that make her an outstanding leader and change agent at all levels of the organization.
Judy brings a strong sense of professionalism, enthusiasm, passion, and fun to the work environment. Judy is one of Spider’s organizational role models – she consistently demonstrates a high degree of professionalism that is always focused on superior standards of job performance. Judy very quietly leads by example. She sets high expectations for herself, her team, and the rest of the organization. Her work is always of the highest caliber – delivered on time per her commitments. When conflicts arise (as often happens in organizations of limited resources) Judy consistently demonstrates an ability to develop "win-win" strategies that achieve positive outcomes rather than getting bogged down in petty organizational politics. Judy always tries to do what is best for the organization.
It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Judy over the last year. As I have mentioned previously, she is an extremely knowledgeable, dedicated, and professional employee. Her strong sense of teamwork, leadership, knowledge, and personal integrity constantly impress all of us at Spider. Personally, I can say that Judy is a truly wonderful person, an ideal employee, and a friend.
